Zane Lowes radio station is part of BBC Radio 1 Extras and features new, fresh music aimed at 16-27 year olds. This radio show is what has inspired me for my music magazine idea, I want my magazine to feature new music artists and bands to make it more relateable to the ever changing teenage generation and I want my magazine to be aimed at the same audience. I can tell that it is aimed at 16-27 year olds because, it is part of BBC Radio 1 Extra which features current music anyway, it has interactive services like Facebook and Twitter, Zane Low is of a more relatable age, the photography used contains pictures that would relate to 16-27 year olds, like technology and the typography used is fresh and clean. All of these key features that BBC Radio 1 use will help me when making my magazine, because I will know what i can do to appeal to the audience that i am trying to aim it at.
